Ramblings from Jerry

We have been having a very good experience on the 2009 Mission Trip. It seems that everywhere we have been we have had people asking questions about the trip and the things that are happening. We have been able to touch people by sharing the reason that we have become aliens in a far country. We have been able to speak about our faith and the Lord, Jesus Christ. We stopped in a coffe shop in downtown as we "shopped" for souvenoirs and met the owner who serves as a pastor of a ministry in Roswell and the valley. He was touched by the fact that we had come down to serve and to teach. He said that there needed to be more groups coming to minister in the area. He said that we would be in his prayers. He also knows Adam Soliz and told us to be sure to tell him he had met us. Every evening we spend time reflecting on our journey of faith and what it is doing in our lives. We keep you-all in our prayers and hope that we are in yours.

Blessings!

  1. Jerry - We are praying for you and the group you are leading. It is great to read about your experiences and see the pictures. I am sure that your first day was great (as I have read so far) and I pray the rest of the week will be great! I know you have spent a lot of time with the youth and helping them grow in faith. It must be great to see this faith in-action.

Keep serving the Lord and we will keep praying!
    Jeff
