We Made It to Missouri!

It's been a long day- we're pretty tired, but glad to be out of the bus. We saw a lot of beautiful scenery today, and a lot of rain (we're trying to post a slideshow, so look for it). We had a flat tire in Ohio, about 2.5 miles from the Indiana border and learned a lesson in helping others. The truck driver parked beside us checked his rig and left without asking if we needed any help. We prayed that we would have an opportunity to help someone unexpectedly in need on our journey- instead we have met two amazingly kind people here in Missouri who have gone out of their way to welcome us and make us comfortable. The original tire is back on- just needed air- and we're sitting in Terri, Chloe, and Sarah's room de-briefing from the day and doing our devotions.

We've barely been gone for a day and already we can feel our hearts and minds changing. It's amazing how a little distance can serve to remind you that you're on God's time, not your own- it's a reminder we tend to ignore at home with all of our other responsibilities.

We're getting up at 6 AM for breakfast, so we can head back out on the road by 7:30. It'll be another 12 hour day on the road.

Oh, and Emily likes her chicken fried (we'll explain when we get home).

Pray for us, we're praying for you.
